Twilight

Twilight is one of my favorite books. Granted I saw the movie first, and since I really liked the film, I decided to read Twilight. Twilight has the right mix of humor, romance, and mystery.

Bella Swan

I know that Bella Swan is seen as weak and a bad heroine, but I like her because I find her as funny, sarcastic, smart, and willing to follow her heart. I do agree that she is not strong physically and that she gets rescued every time by Edward or Jacob, but not all women know how to fight and sometimes need to be rescued. One thing that gets overlooked is the fact that Bella was willing to die in order to rescue her mother from James, which shows that she is brave. I like how Bella never wavers from what she decides to do no matter the consequences or what anyone else wants, including Edward.
